Over the past few weeks, several readers have shared with us that they are facing a blue screen of death for VMware gamers. BSOD indicates that this is a clear violation of the DPC watchdog timer. 0 bravo. Yes. VMware employees.
I have an issue with VMWare Workstation Pro which is causing the yellowish screen of death to appear on almost all Windows 10 x64 hosts. BSOD occurs when a process resumes after a systemthe topic was put to sleep. My guess is that VMWare is literally the root of the problem because it doesn't necessarily show up after the horrific uninstallation of VMWare Workstation. I repeated the process of uninstalling VMWare and used that plan for a while (it would go into continuous sleep in many cases) before reinstalling VMWare, and the practice remains as vigorous as ever – soon after reinstalling VMWare, the danger starts to reappear. I have also tried using VirtualBox for a while and the same problem did not occur.
I was using WhoCrashed to parse the dump files when it indicated that the VMWare USB monitor (hcmon.Might sys) was causing the problem, I would say (see below).
Can anyone give me advice on how to get rid of the BSOD? I am using VMWare Workstation 12.5.2, the actual event is build-4638234. If there is additional information I can submit, please let me know and I will be happy to do so.
This was probably caused by tracking someone's module: hcmon.sys (hcmon + 0x2DF1)
Error checking characteristic: This indicates that Microsoft Windows and the driver arePress the kernel accessed external detection at DISPATCH_LEVEL or higher.
This is a typical driver software glitch and is unlikely to be caused by faulty hardware.
A late stage driver has been detected and is likely the cause of a complete system crash. We recommend that you check for updates separately for one of the following drivers: hcmon.sys (VMware USB check out, VMware, Inc.). Everyone,

Hi, I'm trying to get VMware running for school. But every time I start I am using vmware BSOD.
I spent all day yesterday solving problems, so I'm going to list what I've been blessed with so far:
-
Of course I did a full Windows update, so I'm probably left behind
-
All my updated drivers, including my processor
-
Updating my bio with EZ Flashback and of course enabling virtualization
-
Verifier, sfc and chkdsk were done in Powershell. Nothing unusual
-
I completely reinstalled Windows and removed all my drives
-
Passed and passed the RAM test
-
This element is disabled Enables driver signature verification
-
Windows started in test mode
And still nothing. With this function, I don't know what to do. Someone please help.
How do you fix a blue screen on a VM?
Reboot the virtual machine.Reboot your Mac.Recover your virtual hard disk and all hard drives with photos. If it's a Boot Camp virtual machine, try deleting its metadata files.
Here are my specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x MOBO: ASUS TUF X-570 Gaming PRO GPU: Gigabyte GeForce 2070 CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D15 RAM: G.Skills Ripjaws DDR4 32GB PSU: EVGA SuperNova G + 750
To be honest, the only thing that can work for me personally is a mobo and a power supply. Since the x570-Pro is used, a 16-pin processor power cable is available in the market. I only used these 8 pins. The manual says it's recommended to use a dozen, but the PC is still under the 8-pin connectors.
Here is a normal one for my mom (if it can be opened on the board)
But World Wide Web 1-10 displays contacts at points A and B. I only booted to B. This is my guess
Also note. I downloaded Oracle Virtual Box to see if this is a virtualization issue. And the virtual box opens up perfectly. So yes.
I need your modified help. I have a backup coAcronis current PC in vmdk file to save on my laptop, but in cases when I try to boot the machine online, I get a blue death revelation, error message Close all with tecgnicql information: *** Stop 0x0000007b. Please call and ask someone to help me resolve this jurisdictional issue.
1. Create Acronis of True Image media that will be permanently bootable next year – https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATIH2012/index.html#8493.html
Does virtualization cause BSOD?
A blue computer bug can tell us how I actually use our devices. In your case, the message you received could be due to two main reasons; in particular, firstly, by a program that someone installed, and secondly, by reversing the virtualization of the system.
2. Create an empty virtual machine from your VMware product. Here's a specific feature – it's unclear as well as exactly which product you had in mind – "VMware 7", but something really – try to create a virtual machine with an older version of the hardware as much as possible to make some drivers compatible. …
How do I fix a dead blue screen?
Remove incompatible software.Perform a memory check.Check for hard disk errors.Delete unnecessary devices.Replace faulty or incompatible expansion cards.Run SetupDiag after a failed Windows update.Perform a clean install.
3. Make sure someone has carefully read and fully approved each section of the MU that describes the versatile features of Acronis, especially recovery. restrictions – https://www.acronis.com/en -us / support / documentation / ATIH2012 / index. .html # 10116.htm
4. Start the virtual machine you created from bootable media and perform the actual image recovery. Make sure Acronis Universal Restore uses it when creating a task. More information can be found here – https://kb.acronis.com/content/23561. You will need to share each location in some way, either by connecting each of our drives (or flash drives) using homebrew as a secondary drive, or making the VM available to the mobile phone network and accessing the share. The net in which the backrest is located.
5. Once the dependency recovery is complete, the AUR will take care of the problems loading and deploying drivers for VMware (so it is important to make sure that you are not creating the latest version of the virtual machine as it will be). I have driver 2018).
6. When the restore is complete, collect a system report and save the problem later for analysis if a problem occurs. Please note that you either need to share in A virtual machine with network resources, or find a command for a flash drive, saving the report outside this virtual machine – https://kb.acronis.com/content/23989.
7. After saving the activity report, restart the virtual machine, but test it with a bootable Windows operating system and confirm the boot. Like
Follow the above plan and let people know about the result. If the creation fails, the system reports an analysis.
